Can ‘Kingdom’ Rivals ‘Goblin’?
Screenwriter Kim Eun Hee who hit a success through ‘Signal’ three years ago is now back with a zombie-themed drama, ‘Kingdom’, that will be produced by Netflix.
‘Kingdom’ tells the story of the truth behind Joseon’s prince who threatened the palace’s security. ‘Tunnel’ Director, Kim Sung Hoon, will also get involved in the making of this drama.
The idea about zombies in a historical drama is also considered as something fresh by the audience. Moreover, they are also hoping to see Gong Yoo in this drama.
Kim Eun Hee’s works are known to have moral value, such as ‘Signal’, ‘Sign’, and ‘ghost’. Now through ‘Kingdom’, she wants to convey that the anxiousness and fear in one era can affect another generation as well.
