After SNSD’s Seo Hyun, Suzy Will Now Compete Against Taeyeon

Suzy will now compete with another member of senior idol girl group SNSD/Girls Generation. After competing with Seo Hyun in music charts, Suzy will go against Taeyeon, ‘the queen of soundtracks’.

Both Suzy and Taeyeon will release their new songs on February 28.

Suzy will release her collab single with Park Won titled ‘Don’t Wait for Your Love’, whereas Taeyeon will release her first solo album, ‘My Voice’.

This is Suzy’s second competition with SNSD members in music charts this year. Previously, Suzy released her solo mini album ‘Yes? No?’ with its title track ‘Pretend’ at the same time with the release of Seo Hyun’s mini album ‘Don’t Say No’.

At that time, ‘Pretend’ received better responses. The single instantly sweeped the first position on various charts right after it was released. Though Seo Hyun also tried her best, her single ‘Don’t Say No’ did not achieve the same result.

It seems like Suzy’s competition with Taeyeon is going to be fiercer. Taeyeon proves herself as a skillful singer and her previous singles, ‘I’, ‘Rain’, ‘Why’, and ’11:11′ have always been successful in music charts. Not to mention that Taeyeon’s own OSTs and collaborations also dominated music charts during their time. Now, fans can hardly wait for her first full album.

But of course, Suzy’s collaboration is not to be underestimated. Previously, Park Won made a hit with his own solo album. Suzy’s upcoming project with Park Won is also something that is highly anticipated by many people.
