Ha Ji Won Talks About Her Character in Recent Interview For ‘In Style’ Magazine
On July 18, Ha Ji Won shows her colorful charms in the August issue of ‘In Style’ fashion magazine cover shoot that has been released.
In MBC’s ‘Hospital Ship’ that is scheduled to air in August, Ha Ji Won will challenge herself to play as a doctor for the first time and she has been preparing for it. “In order to portray the character surgeon Song Eun Jae really well, I learned a lot about medicine. I saw the process of a surgery on youtube and bought medical books. I even practice sewing”, said Ha Ji Won. She once had the dream of becoming a surgeon.
“I think it’s time for me as an actress to do something more authentic than just a box office,” said Ha Ji Won, revealing the reason for choosing the drama ‘Hospital Ship’.
Ha Ji Won gets a question about the character that she likes the best from all the roles that she had done and she chooses Chae Ok from MBC drama ‘Damo’. “At that moment, everything was unfamiliar and I did not know anything about acting. That’s what made me realize that the set is a fun place. I think I was still immature and it’s fun”, said Ha Ji Won.
