Jo In Sung Immediately Said ‘Yes’ to ‘Ansi Fortress’
The decision of actor Jo In Sung, who took the lead role in the movie ‘Ansi Fortress’, grabbed the attention of public as well as observers of the film industry. Jo In Sung himself will play as Yang Man Chun, the commander of Goguryeo who leads the war in Ansi Fortress.
Previously, there were several names of famous Korean actors who were offered to be the actor of Yang Man Chun, but eventually, the choice fell on Jo In Sung.
When offered, Jo In Sung immediately said yes to ‘Ansi Fortress’. Usually, big artists will examine the name of artists that were previously offered and asked why they rejected the role first before considering the offer, and not few of them make their decision based on that.
But Jo In Sung was different. From the beginning, Jo In Sung was not so concerned about the names of other actors who have rejected this role. He decided to play after researching the project, in addition to his desire to try new challenge in his career. Jo In Sung received the proposal in March, only recently received the script from the production team, and immediately agreed on the offer.
‘Ansi Fortress’ will be Jo In Sung’s new colossal film after 10 years. His latest colossal movie was ‘A Frozen Flower’ (2008). Earlier this year, Jo In Sung achieved success with the release of ‘The King’ movie, which managed to record 5 million viewers. Public is now looking forward for Jo In Sung’s appearance in ‘Ansi Fortress’.
