Seohyun’s Comeback With a Solo Album Planned in January
Seohyun will be coming back to the music industry by releasing her new solo album in January, 2017. Seohyun is currently in the process of deciding the specific date of the album’s release.
This will make Seohyun the fourth member of Girls’ Generation to debut as a solo artist after Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Hyeoyeon. Her album was previously scheduled to be released before the end of 2016. However, its release was postponed to 2017.
Having met success with the sub-unit of Girl’s Generation, TaeTiSeo, Seohyun is going to start the second era of the so-called ‘Solo Generation’.
Meanwhile, Seohyun currently appears in Onstyle web drama “Ruby Ruby Love” as the main protagonist. The drama’s first and second episode will be released on January 18th. Other episodes are scheduled to be released on the 19th, 25th, and 26th. “Ruby Ruby Love” is a romatic story of a woman, who suffers from sociophobia, encountering a magic ring that helps her become a successful jewelry designer.
