‘My Golden Life’ Wins In KBS-MBC Weekend Drama Competition
KBS and MBC air weekend dramas at the same time.
On the 2nd, KBS 2TV started ‘My Golden Life’ and MBC started ‘Man Who Sets the Table’. ‘My Golden Life’ got a 19.7% rating and ‘Man Who Set the Table’ was rated 8.6%, which marked the victory of KBS. However, the previous drama, KBS 2TV’s first episode of ‘My Father is Strange’, became the first rank with a higher viewer rating of 33.7%, slightly below viewership rating of 22.9%.
‘My Golden Life’ is a family drama about a woman who wants to go out to look for a false dream about the hike. In the first broadcast, Park Si Hoo, who returned to the terrestrial channel for a long time and acts as Shin Hye Sun for the main character, attracted viewers’ attention. Park Si Hoo returned to the terrestrial channel after four years since SBS ‘Cheondamdong Alice’ in 2013.
‘Man Who Sets the Table’ starring Kim Gab Soo and Kim Mi Sook which was released following the drama ‘You Are Too Much’. ‘Jolhon’ (marriage wherein couple are still married, but live independently). This will show different married couples like married couples who remarry and married couples living in crisis.
On the first episode, retired Kim Gab Soo found his wife Kim Mi Sook, announced that she wanted Jolhon on their wedding anniversary.
