First Friday Without ‘Goblin’…. Saddening
‘Goblin’ had ended.
For 2 months, ‘Goblin’ had been accompanying viewers every Friday and Saturday night. The 27th and 28th of January were the first Friday and Saturday without ‘Goblin’ after a long time. Fans’ nostalgic cry toward Goblin Gong Yoo, Grim Reaper Lee Dong Wook, Kim Go Eun, Yoo In Na, and Yook Sung Jae could already be heard.
Now, there are only the replay and special episode left. tvN already replayed the drama, from beginning to end, by airing episode 1 until 7 of ‘Goblin’ back to back on January 27th, from 7.40 until 18.40 KST. The next day, the rest of the episode were aired as well. Despite being a ‘Goblin’-less week, Friday and Satuday were still ‘Goblin’ days.
This week (February 3rd), a special episode will be aired. Though the exact date has not been decided, the special episode will not disrupt the airtime of ‘Tomorrow With You’, ‘Goblin’ ‘s replacement. The special episode will be filled with interviews with the actors of ‘Goblin’, and also never-seen-before behind the scenes.
After the special episode, it’s time for a real goodbye with ‘Goblin’. The actors and crews will go on a vacation together in Phuket, Thailand, on February 6th. After that, they will go on with their individual activities.
