‘Chief Kim’: Namgung Min’s Comical Acting in Episode 7
In the latest episode of KBS 2TV’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘Chief Kim’ (15/2), Kim Sung Ryong was robbed off of his title as ‘the hero’.
In front of the whole company, Seo Yool (Jun Ho) openly threw Sung Ryong in prison. However, Yoon Ha Kyung (Nam Sang Mi) then specifically asked for help from Jang Yoo Sun, and thanks to them, Sung Ryong was released.
After he was released from the prison, Sung Ryong tried to cleanse himself by taking a bath. He also tried to change his mindset. Sung Ryong showered while sporting a serious expression, but his comical pose in the washroom makes any audience who watched the episode laughed out loud.
After that, Sung Ryong went to work with different vibe. It turned out that in accordance to Sung Ryong’s dismissal, the management division had already published the dismissal letter, but then the letter was carelessly put in a table located in the middle of a coridor to the bathroom.
Before Sung Ryong came to the office’s waiting room, Chief Oh had come first because he wanted to commit suicide. While crying, Chief Oh said, “I’ve always worked hard to live,”. Sung Ryong, who caught him in time, tried to persuade him not to kill himself by reminding him, “Have you ever really corrupted the company? Those people can still live their lives easily, why do you have to die?”
Finally, Chief Oh got off and did not jump. He was determined to keep living and fight the injustice, while Sung Ryong was also determined to destroy the inhuman waiting room. In the end of the episode, Sung Ryong’s comical behavior, which did not obey the waiting room’s rule, left the audience laughing once again.
