Upcoming Drama, The Liar and his Lover
tvN will broadcast its new drama following the end of Introverted Boss next week. This drama is titled The Liar and His Lover and will be starred by Lee Hyun Woo and Red Velvet’s Joy. Like some previous tvN’s dramas, romantic comedy still becomes its main genre. This drama will have 16 episodes with 60 minutes length in each episode.
The Liar and his Lover is based on Japanese manga which is titled Kanojo Wa Uso O Aishisugiteru written by Kotomi Aoki. It tells the love story between a genius music composer and a senior high school student. The composer falls in love with the voice of the girl while he is using his fake identity.
Lee Hyun Woo is the male lead character in The Liar and his Lover. He plays as Kang Han Kyul, a very confident music composer who gets awkward when it comes to love. He falls for the honesty and the bravery of a senior high school student who has a beautiful voice.
The female lead character is played by Red Velvet’s Joy who finally gets a chance to be a main character for the first time. Joy will play as Yoon So Rim, a senior high school student who is brave and honest, but at the same time innocent. Her honesty, bravery, and innocent charms will attract Kang Han Kyul.
