Sandara Park: “Nothing Changes Much about 2NE1’s Personal Relationships after the Disbandment.”
Once again, Sandara Park opened up regarding 2NE1’s disbandment.
On March 31, during the press conference for her debut movie ‘One Step, Sandara revealed, “I was devastated when it happened, but I feel much better now.”
The singer-actress said that other members of 2NE1 (CL and Bom) came during the movie release event. “They gave their opinions regarding the songs that I sing in the movie. According to them, my singing skill has improved,”
Regarding the idol group’s disbandment, she said, “When it happened, I kept crying. Even until a couple months ago, I was just always at home, but I’ve been feeling much better now. I think it’s because we’re so close that it’s hard to accept the situation.”
Sandara also mentioned Gong Minzy, 2Ne1’s ex-maknae, who is known to be preparing her solo debut at the moment. “Nothing changes much regarding our personal relationships. Minzy could not come because she had other schedule, but she sent a supportive message to me, saying that she had watched the teaser for ‘One Step’. I feel touched because of that.”
Lastly, Sandara admitted that she still find it worrisome to do a lot of activities on her own after the group’s disbandment.
Meanwhile, ‘One Step’ is a movie about Si Hyun (Sandara Park), a girl who lost her memories due to an accident, and Ji Il (Han Jae Suk), a songwriter who’s going through a slump. Through music, the two of them communicate and help each other to go trough their own problems. ‘One Step’ is going to be released on April 6th.
