Park Bo Young Finally Finds the Kind of Works She’d be Best At
Actress Park Bo Young finally found the kind of work that she’d be best at, which is romantic-comedy drama which requires her to appear cutely.
In ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’, which had just ended on April 15, Park Bo Young played as Do Bong Soon, who has an extraordinary and Herculean strength despite her cute appearance. In contrast to her small figure, Do Bong Soon could lift two male adults at the same time, she could even lift a car easily with one hand.
However, Park Bo Young, who’s often called as ‘Bovely’ (Bo Young-lovely), did not always star in rocco (romantic-comedy works). She strayed from this genre for some years while starring in various movie titles.
But then, Park Bo Young starred in tvN’s ‘Oh My Ghost’, in which she played as a virgin ghost of a chef, Na Bong Sun. The drama was met by good responses from fans for its mix of romance and comedy.
After that, she came back with ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’, strengthening her ability to play a cheerful, adorable, and cute character in a hilarious narrative, with her extraordinary strength and all. This drama was also highly praised for its romance and comedy.
One broadcast official said, “Park Bo Young seems to have learned how she can be loved by public, which is by starring in projects that are similar to ‘Oh My Ghost’. This (her success) is actually the result of knowing exactly what the public wants her to do,”
