Gong Yoo’s Teary Eyes in Taiwan Fan Meeting
Gong Yoo held a surprise fan meeting in Taiwan for his fans.
On April 29, Gong Yoo greeted 5500 fans at Shin Chuang Gym, Taipei, Taiwan. Since he debuted, this was the first time he visited Taiwan.
He was touched by what the fans did for him. The fans wrote a message for Gong Yoo and made a collage of his pictures and displayed it in the auditorium, “Each day is shining because of Gong Yoo”, the project successfully touched the actor who shed his tears.
Gong Yoo said, “Thank you very much. I haven’t done a fanmeeting in a long time, no matter what happens I promise I will not cry and go on stage. But you make me cry.”
Then Gong Yoo revealed his reason for crying, “My cry now seems to be a cry of regret. I work without rest. It seems my heart is weaker than I think. Should I say that my heart hurts?”
Then Gong Yoo promised, “Maybe later I will regret my words, but I cry because I feel guilty toward you. Now I will not cry. I’ve let everything out. I am very grateful and your support has given me strength, your sincere feelings, I will accept it and once again please give me the strength to go back to work harder.”
In this letter, Gong Yoo expressed his gratitude, “Last night I was very confused, what should I talk to you today. Last year, in my career life, my works have a lot of flaws. Maybe my acting looks very good from the outside but actually, I feel very lonely everytime I do something difficult and tiring, I can still feel it. Because of this, I want to run away. However, I can survive because of the support and the confidence that of all of you have given me.”
Gong Yoo on May 6 will hold an official fanmeeting in Hong Kong.
