Can ‘Lookout’ Compete Against ‘Fight for My Way’ and ‘My Sassy Girl’?
The Monday-Tuesday drama slot competition has a newcomer, which is MBC’s drama ‘Lookout’. The drama stars Lee Si Young and Kim Young Kwang.
On May 19th, the press conference of ‘Lookout’ was held. On the occasion, Lee Si Young expressed her opinion about the Monday-Tuesday competition, “I can not deny that I’m a bit worried because three new dramas will start at about the same time. However, I believe in the extraordinary manuscripts and directives of our director.”
‘Lookout’ is an action / thriller action drama, which tells of a group of people who lost their loved ones to crime. This group of people then try to catch the criminals in their own way.
In ‘Lookout’, Lee Si Young acts as Jo Soo Ji, a single mother who works as a detective. Lee Si Young explained, “I feel honored to be offered this great opportunity. This is my first time playing a mother with a child. That’s why I’ll work harder to improve my acting. ”
Kim Seul Gi also talks about her role in ‘Lookout’. “My character is someone who looks strong and cool from the outside, but actually has a lot of pain in her heart.”
‘Lookout’ premiered on May 22 at 10 pm KST. On the same day, ‘Fight for My Way’ starring Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won also aired its premiere episode. Meanwhile, SBS’ My Sassy Girl’ starring Oh Yeon Seo and Joo Won will start airing a week later, on May 29.
