Lee Bo Young is Confirmed to Play in tvN’s ‘Mother’

Actress Lee Bo Young will make her comeback in the glass screen soon with tvN’s ‘Mother’. On July 27th, a source from the channel said, “Lee Bo Young has confirmed her participation in ‘Mother’. She is currently preparing to shoot the drama.”

‘Mother’ is a remake of a Japanese drama that was aired in 2010 on NTV channel. The drama is about a woman who kidnaps a child and decides to be his mother. Lee Bo Young will play Suzuhara, which was previously played by Yasuko Matsuyuki in the original drama.

Lee Bo Young had played a mother character in the drama ‘God Gift – 14 Days’, her acting was very impressive. As a trustworthy actress, Lee Bo Young wants to prove her acting skill once more.

‘Mother’ is quite special as it managed to bring Best Picture, Best Actress Award, Best New Actor, and Best Director award home from a Japanese awarding event.

‘Mother’ will be directed by the PD who previously made ‘Hwang Jini’, On the Way to the Airport’, and ‘Chicago Typewriter’. The drama is set to be aired on Wednesday-Thursday drama slot in January 2018.
