Goblin’s Writer Kim Eun Sook Takes Home Grand Prize in Baeksang Award
‘Goblin’ scriptwriter Kim Eun Sook won the Grand Prize for ‘Television Drama’ category in the 53th Baeksang Award.
In her acceptance speech, the writer said, “I did not expect to receive this Grans Prize. I’ve been receiving a lot of love during the making of this drama, which was starred by awesome actors; and the director also helped me to make the drama beautiful. I kept thinking ‘when will this kind of luck goes on?’ and then I got this award.”
“I think this is the highest award that I’ve ever received, but this might also be my last chance. That’s why I want to say thank you,”
Seeing Kim Eun Suk tearing up while saying her acceptance speech, ‘Goblin’ main stars Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun also shed a tear. The writer did not forget to close her speech with a thanks to all of the ‘Goblin’ team.
