The Progress of Korean Idols in Historical Dramas: Im Si Wan, Baek Hyun, and L
The new ‘historical drama idol man’ has joined. This time L Infinite has a busy schedule. Following fellow idols, ZE: A Im Si Wan and EXO Baekhyun.
Im Si Wan has already become the ‘Idol in historical drama’ through MBC ‘Moon Embracing the Sun’. He plays as ‘Heo Yeom’, being a flower boy and his acting talent is considered quite stable.
Baek Hyun is the next one. Last year, Baek Hyun showed his acting skill in SBS drama ‘Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo’. He appeared as one of the young princes. He plays the character of a king who falls in love with IU. His uniqueness also helps him on portraying the charm of youth, it is a new thing.
L is no longer playing as a kid or a supporting actor. L emerged as one of the leading actors. L plays the role of an ordinary person named Lee Seon in MBC drama ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’. He disguised as the King behind the mask.
L presence is amazing. He shows a refreshing side of him and he is able to portray Lee Seon’s rage in the drama. Actor ‘Kim Myung Soo’ shows his dignity really well. He describes the figure of a King whose acting skill continues to grow. The viewers are already looking forward to his role in this work which contains a lot of tragedies.
