Bong Joon Ho’s ‘OKJA’ Has Finally Been Released in Netflix
‘Okja’, a movie which has been a source of attention, has finally released for the first time in Netflix.
On July 29, ‘Okja’ was released in 190 cities around the world via Netflix, a global video streaming service at midnight. Thousand of viewers immediately posted pictures of them watching ‘Okja’, which instantly rose to the ‘top blockbuster’ list in Netflix.
In addition, Korean and international viewers expressed their satisfaction toward the movie by commenting, ‘As expected from Bong Joon Ho’s works’. Sympathy toward immigrants and big pets made a lot of viewers cry while watching the movie, which centers around how human’s egoisticity hurts animals.
