BLACKPINK is the First K-POP Female Group to Grace the Cover of ELLE Korea
Girl group Blackpink has debuted for about a year.
On July 18th, fashion magazine ‘ELLE’ released a picture from their photoshoot with BLACKPINK.
BLACKPINK’s latest single ‘As If It’s Your Last’ is a K-Pop song with the shortest record in the Youtube channel, but BLACKPINK managed to get a triple crown on music broadcast. In the photo shoot for the cover of ELLE, BLACKPINK members wear leather skirts, shoulder tops, and complete their colorful costumes with high boots. With confident pose and intense gaze, they succeeded in completing a visually modern look.
In an interview that was held during the shoot, BLACKPINK talked about their one year debut. “Time went by so fast. I’ve become more confident on stage, but offstage, I’m still shy. It’s hard to open up myself to others,” said one member. Others added, “There’s still a lot that we want to show. We’ll show you more of ‘our colors’ in the future.”
