From ‘Goblin’ to ‘Ruler’: Kim So Hyun’s Advanced Acting

Actress Kim So Hyun successfully played her role as a Queen beautifully.

Even though in ‘Goblin’ she only appeared briefly, she left a strong and lasting impression that perks the audience’s curiosity about her upcoming appearance in ‘Ruler’. She is currently in the middle of the filming for MBC’s drama, ‘Ruler – Master of the Mask’ that is scheduled to air in May. This drama will combine the political conflicts and the romantic story within the palace.

Kim So Hyun who debuted in 2008 has tried different roles, from acting as an adult to a high schooler. Last year, after she appeared in ‘Let’s Fight Ghost’, she also played in ‘Goblin’ along with Kim Min Jae.

Kim So Hyun will play as Han Ga Eun in ‘Ruler’, who seeks for a revenge toward the crown prince, Lee Sun. Han Ga Eun is an ordinary woman with high temperament who lives in an uninhabited house. She wants to take a revenge on Lee Sun who murdered her father, but ends up falling for him. Even though this character is not easy to portray, the audience has an expectation on her.
