Hyeri the ‘100 Billion Girl’ Cried Remembering Her Difficult Past
Member of Girls’ Day, Hyeri, is currently busy doing various activities such as singing, acting, appearing in variety show.
Recently, the singer-actress shared a touching story about her difficult past.
In ‘Live Talk Show Taxi’ that was aired on March 29, Hyeri appeared with other members of Girls’ Day. Hyeri, who usually appears cheerful and bright, surprised the audience when she shared a touching story after the group talked about their success.
“I was very lucky because I was able to debut in quite a short time.”
And then Hyeri tearfully said, “For 16 years, my mom worked in a factory. It seemed like my mother went through a hard time because of me. At home, that was all I think about. I wanted to debut soon because I did not want to burden my mom anymore.”
Hyeri received a lot of love due to her appearance in MBC’s variety show ‘Real Men’ and tvN’s popular drama ‘Reply 1988’, which led her to be offered hundreds of CF love calls. She even earned the nickname ‘100 Billion Girl’ because her appearance guarantees a 100 billion profit. Though she’s highly successful now, Hyeri does not forget about her struggle in the past. She gave some of her money to her family and donated some others for good causes.
