It was all started when the North Korea’s President needed a heart surgery, the surgeon was Park Hoon’s father who came from South Korea. It turned out that they were abandoned by South Korea and they needed to live there. He grew up in North Korea and fell in love with Han Jae Hee. Park Hoon also became a reputable heart surgeon.
Problems came when Han Jae Hee’s parents were said to betray the nation, so they were punished. Park Hoon and Han Jae Hee needed to part ways, but after several years had passed, they met again. Then Park Hoon tried to run away from North Korea with Han Jae Hee.
When they were in an escape, Han Jae Hee fell into the river and they needed to be separated again. Park Hoon stayed in South Korea and suddenly saw a girl who looked like Han Jae Hee who worked as a doctor. He then became a doctor again to find out the truth.
Not only focusing on Park Hoon and Han Jae Hee, the drama also featured the love story between Han Jae Joon (Park Hae Jin) and Oh Soo Hyun (Kang So Ra). Their love story is as interesting and complicated as the main couple’s story. Soon, they would also be involved in a rectangular love story.
