OCN Hits Three Consecutive Home Runs with ‘Tunnel’, ‘Voice’, and ’38 Task Force’
OCN’s latest drama, ‘Tunnel’, has had its premiere on March 25. The drama is currently receiving a lot of warm responses in various online forums due to its surprising turn of events. Not only excelling as an investigation drama, this drama is also great at wrapping the whole time-traveling/time-slipping element. People are starting to compare it with tvN’s 2016 drama ‘Signal’, which was dubbed as one of the best drama of 2016.
In ‘Tunnel’, Park Kwang Ho started to do his own investigation so he could go back to the past and be with his wife. The suspenseful tense between Park Kwang Ho (Choi Jin Hyuk) and Kim Sun Jae (Yun Hyun Min) and the touching love story between Park Kwang Ho and Shin Jae Yi (Lee Yoo Young) make people cannot tear their eyes away from ‘Tunnel’.
With ‘Tunnel’, OCN has hit three consecutive home run with its investigation dramas so far. OCN is now well-known for this kind of dramas, yet they keep providing excellent material with different plots. Previously, there was ’38 Task Force’ which focused on intrigue-filled fraud, ‘Voice’ with its 112 Call Center and the mysteries surrounding it, and now ‘Tunnel’ with an investigation on a psychopath serial killer through a tunnel. OCN does not only break people’s perception that ‘dramas from one genre are all the same’, but also show that a genre could be developed and combined with other genres.
