‘Bride of the Water God’ is adapted from an original comic (soonjung manhwa) which tells of a girl who was sacrificed to become the bride of the Water God by the city dwellers who are tired of years of drought. In contrast to the comic version, the story in this drama will be suited to the present.

‘Bride of the Water God’ is directed by Kim Byung Soo, who previously directed ‘Queen In Hyeon’s Man’, ‘Nine: Nine Times Time Travel’, ‘Bubblegum’, and much more.

‘Bride of Water God’ will follow ‘Circle’, a new tvN drama which will have its premiere on May 22nd.
