Song Joong Ki Appears on Naver V Live with ‘The Battleship Island’ After Announcing His Upcoming Marriage to Song Hye Kyo
Actor Song Joong Ki did not directly talk about his wife, Song Hye Kyo. Though so, he keeps smiling to express the joy that he feels.
On July 7th at 9 PM KST, Naver V Live aired the special broadcast of ‘The Battleship Island’. The live broadcast was attended by director Ryoo Seung Hwan and the movie casts, Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub, Lee Jung Hyun, Song Jong Ki, and Kim Soo Ahn.
MC Park Kyung Rim started the event by saying something to Song Joong Ki, “Your face looks happier than ever,” she said while hinting at the wedding news. Song Jong Ki said, “Looks like I’m going to be nervous the whole time. Did something happen?” He laughed.
In the event, the casts talked about the history of ‘The Battleship Island’ from the point of view of the director and the actors.
Song Jong Ki talked about So Ji Sub. “On the set, he’s like a ‘safety guard’. He will protect the female staffs from getting hurt.”
In addition, So Ji Sub, Lee Jung Hyun, Kim Soo Ahn expressed his pride to be part of the movie ‘The Battleship Island’.
The ‘The Battleship Island’ film will begin airing on July 26th. The movie depicts Koreans trying to escape a Japanese warship during the Japanese colonialism. In this film, Hwang Jung Min acts as Lee Kang Ok, So Ji Sub plays as Choi Chil Sung, the top fighter in Kyungsung, Song Joong Ki plays Park Moo Young, OSS member of Kwangbok Gun, Lee Jung Hyun plays Mal Nyeon, a woman worker, while Kim Soo AHhn plays the daughter of Lee Kang Ok.
