Nam Joo Hyuk Learns How to Write His and Shin Se Kyung’s Names in ‘Bride of the Water God’
On July 11th, in the 4th episode of ‘Bride of Water God’, Habaek (Nam Joo Hyuk) saved So Ah (Shin Se Kyung) from falling off the roof using his strength, assuring her that he was a God.
But honestly, it’s hard to be with Habaek who does not understand anything about the human world. When he wanted to take a bath, Habaek filled a basin with water from the roof. So Ah was surprised to see him half naked. “What would you do if someone saw you doing this?” So Ah quickly told him to cover his body with a towel. Habaek stood before her and obeyed her words. Though so, he still arrogantly called her a slave. “Do not test me,” he said.
Habaek was worried about So Ah because he knew that there was someone who wanted to harm her Habaek waited for her in front of her house. So Ah was actually afraid of passing a dark alley at night, so when she saw Habaek standing at the end of the alley, she felt relieved.
In another scene, Habaek learned to write in hangeul. On the wall, he wrote his own name and also Yoon So Ah’s name. He felt proud of it. After he entered the house, So Ah smiled and corrected the wrong part in Habaek’s writings.
Despite his arrogant trait, Habaek’s behavior shows the fascination of someone who has fallen in love. At the same time, So Ah also feels thrilled by his behavior. Habaek begins to fall in love with So Ah, and tries showing it by looking after her. Will Habaek’s love flourish in the future?
