Ji Chang Wook Will Go to the Military on August 14
Actor Ji Chang Wook will soon join the military.
Ji Chang Wook will begin his basic military exercises in Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, on August 14th. After completing the basic military training, he will serve as an active soldier.
Ji Chang Wook’s agency, Glorious Entertainment, announced this through their official website. In an interview, Ji Chang Wook once said, “As a man, I have to be enlisted in the military. Military service is not a burden. I do not think that my career will be left far behind just because I have to go through the military service”.
Ji Chang Wook debuted in an indie film in 2008, and since then, he is regarded as the actor who not only has the popularity but also managed to become a Korean Hallyu star.
In 2008, he appeared in the drama ‘You Stole My Heart’, 2009 ‘My too Perfect Sons’, 2011 ‘Smile Again’, and in 2013 he starred in the drama ‘Empress Ki’. Ji Chang Wook also showed his acting skills through the drama ‘Healer’, ‘The K2’, as well as the new drama, ‘Suspicious Partner’.
In addition to his appearance and acting skills, Ji Chang Wook is praised for his good attitude. He has a solid fan base throughout Asia including Korea, China, and Japan.
Meanwhile, Ji Chang Wook will hold a fan concert titled ‘A Movie by Ji Chang Wook, History Concert – Jiscovery’ on July 22 at Seoul Olympic Park Olympic Hall.
