‘Goblin’ Kim Go Eun – Gong Yoo, Fate Brings Them Back, ‘Is This God’s Consideration?’
On the 14th episode of ‘Goblin’, tvN’s Friday-Saturday drama, Kim Shin had deceased.
In that episode, Kim Shin, along with all memories of him, vanished from the earth. Every recollection of Ji Eun Tak and Kim Shin was erased, and the time moves forward to nine years later.
Ji Eun Tak had become a producer. On a rainy day, Ji Eun Tak felt morose. She started to hold her hearts and weeps. Ji Eun Tak didn’t even know why she started crying. “Why do I keep being sad like this?” She asked while sobbing.
At the same time, Kim Shin, who had grown tired and fell from wandering around the world and the afterlife heard the voice of Eun Tak, who had become a 29 years old woman. Ji Eun Tak was saying “Who has I forgotten? What kind of face that I had forgotten? Anyone, please help me!” while blowing a candle. After she did that, Kim Shin got back. He hugged Eun Tak happily, but Eun Tak asked him with a confused expression,”Who are you? Why are you hugging me?”
Seeing Eun Tak’s reaction, Kim Shin got reminded that every memory and trace of him will vanish for everyone who knew him before. With doubt, Kim Shin went to Grim Reaper’s tea house. Unexpectedly, the Grim Reaper remembered Kim Shin! Grim Reaper said, “I’m so happy that you’re back. Seriously, I am. I’m sorry for saying this late.”
Kim Shin followed Grim Reaper back to their house while gazing around, remembering Ji Eun Tak. At home, Kim Shin revealed his identity to Yoo Deok Hwa and got his possessions back. Kim Shin also appeared in front of Ji Eun Tak again, but still, Eun Tak only regarded him as a stranger.
After 9 years, Ji Eun Tak got a letter that leads her back to Canada. Despite feeling weird, Eun Tak made a passport, hoping that she would get to know something in Canada.
The episode ends with Ji Eun Tak meeting Kim Shin in Canada, arousing the viewers’ curiosity for the upcoming episode.
