Head Over Heels in Love? After Announcing Wedding Date, Song Joong Ki is Very Open Regarding His Relationship with Song Hye Kyo
Groom-to-be Song Joong Ki has transformed into a ‘lover’, showing his romantic side in real life. On July 20th, ‘Battleship Island’ had a VIP premiere that was attended by director Ryu Seung Wan and actors Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub, Song Joong Ki, Lee Jung Hyun and Kim Soo Ahn.
In the greeting segment, while promoting his movie, Song Joong Ki did not forget to mention his fiance, Song Hye Kyo.
“I’m very nervous. Thank you for taking 2 hours of your time for us. The precious time is meaningful, and I’ve worked hard filming this movie,” said Song Joong Ki. “I’m going to get married soon and I will have a woman that I’ve to take care of for the rest of my life. Therefore, I’d be happy if you could give the movie good reviews.”
Last year, Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo had an explosive chemistry in ‘Descendants of the Sun’. After denying dating rumors twice, on July 5th, the couple suddenly announced that they’re going to get married in October.
Alas, during this promotion period, the media’s attention was not only focused on his movie, ‘Battleship Island’, but also his relationship with Song Hye Kyo. However, unlike other actors, Song Joong Ki never seem to mind talking about his fiancee and their wedding plan. Asked about his opinions on Song Hye Kyo’s personality in the past, her decision to reject a CF offer, and so on, Song Joong Ki always answered it clearly. He even bravely referred his future wife as ‘someone I love’.
