‘Mr. Sunshine’ Fails to Work With SBS, the Production Cost Reaches 1,5 Million Won Per Episode?
The side from SBS and the producer said, the collaboration with the new masterpiece of the screenwriter of ‘Goblin’, Kim Eun Suk, ‘Mr. Sunshine’ is failed.
On the 24th, SBS conveyed, “It is true that the conditions are not in the discussion process and it will be canceled. If there is a clash in opinion, then it can’t work together”.
The production side from the Anam Pictures also conveyed “The discussion has to be made with a lot of consideration including the production cost. But the production cost of 1.5 Billion won per episode is not true. We have not calculated the exact cost of the production”.
The new work of author Kim Eun Suk ‘Mr.Sunshine’ reportedly failed to collaborate with SBS, for they are not willing to pay the production cost of 1.5 billion won per episode. But the SBS and the producers did not justify the news.
‘Mr. Sunshine ‘is a drama that tells a man on a US military warship in Shin Mei Yang (1871) and returns to his homeland, Joseon, as an American soldier.
The drama stars Lee Byung Hun, Kim Tae Ri, Yoo Yun Suk, Byun Yo Han, and Jo Woo Jin. It is rumored that this will be aired on tvN in the first half earlier this year.
