‘While You Were Sleeping’ Lee Jong Suk and Screenwriter Park Hye Ryun’s Third Meeting
Actor Lee Jong Suk was recently involved in a role with his senior actor.
Through the movie ‘V.I.P’ released on the 24th, Lee Jong Suk who met Kim Myung Min, Jang Dong Gun, and other artists expressed his gratitude. Then he says that the artist he wants to play as his partner once again is Kim Win Hae who will also appear in the upcoming SBS drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’.
Lee Jong Suk recalls, “Kim Won Hae is really a fun person. Although he acts mostly in comedy genre, it is not an easy thing to do. Therefore I am also learning comedy. I feel as if ‘I am absorbed into it’. At first I feel flexible”.
Actually, ‘While You Were Sleeping’ is a highly anticipated work where Lee Jong Suk will collaborate with Suzy and showcase their romantic story. Then Lee Jong Suk said, “Because it is the opposite of the character in the movie, this is a concern about what I have to do if the image after ‘V.I.P’ still remains. I have to play in a melodrama, but I do not want the same smile to remain”.
However, the expectation from ‘While You Were Sleeping’ is also high because this is a drama from author Park Hye Ryun. Lee Jong Suk has starred in screenwriter Park Hye Ryun’s dramas ‘I Can Hear Your Voice’ and ‘Pinocchio’ and he will also play in ‘While You Were Sleeping’ which is the third work that gather them together. Lee Jong Suk talked about the writer’s ability, “The author takes a lot her actors’ consideration and reshapes them into a character. She creates an amazing character”.
Then Lee Jong Suk showed their closeness, “I shared many stories with the author, we have a close relationship,” and, “In the final shooting drama this time, to the writer I say, ‘the best thing that I’ve ever done in my life is meeting you”.
