According to SBS, “In our discussion with members, we keep apologizing for the events that had happened during the show’s reconstruction process. With this, we announce that the 6 six members of Running Man have agreed to continue the show.”

At the end of 2016, ‘Running Man’ team got into a lot of controversies regarding its two members, Kim Jong Kook and Song Ji Hyo, and the production team’s plan to reconstruct their show. The production staffs and members then decided to gather together and change their mind about re-making the show. They have been focusing on giving their best for the show in the last 2 months.

‘Running Man’ has been airing since 2010, and an end is surely something that is unwanted by all parties involved, including fans. Rather than ending the show , the team decided to reunite back and continue ‘Running Man’, not by making a second season, but simply by continuing with what they have right now.
