Wanna One Successfully Held Their First Fan Meeting In Hong Kong
Wanna One held their first fan meeting in Hong Kong. On October 3rd, Wanna One held their first fan meeting in Hong Kong. Chinese news media such as Dong Wang reported there were about 8000 fans filled the venue on the 4th.
Member Wanna One greeted local fans happily by introducing themselves in a language mixed with Hongkong, “you must have been waiting a long time?” one member asked, not to forget to be sweet to Hong Kong fans.
The members of Wanna One covered the song ‘Gangnam Style’ Psy, TVXQ ‘Mirotic’, EXO ‘Growl’, and ‘Pick Me’ from Produce 101 season 2. They performed dance welcomed by the enthusiasm of Hong Kong fans, as well as sang other hits such as ‘Never’ and ‘Hands On Me’, making the fan meeting feel more festive.
At the end of the fan meeting, as representative of the members, Kang Daniel delivered, “when I was filming ‘Produce 101 season 2’ many fans from Hong Kong came and supported me. I did not expect to have a fan meeting in Hong Kong.” Wanna One completed their fan meeting in Hong Kong after performing ‘Energetic’ and ‘Always’ to Hong Kong fans.
Due to some technical problems at the fan meeting location, Chinese media reported the fan meeting started at 21:45 late 1 hour 45 minutes from the planned schedule. However, they spent a wonderful time with fans for the next 2 hours.
