‘While You Were Sleeping’, Lee Jong Suk and Suzy’s Kissing Scene Reaching 1st Place in 2 Weeks
SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’ earned first place in ratings through Lee Jong Suk and Suzy’s kissing scene in a dream.
In the drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’ episodes 7 and 8 on the 5th, depicted Jae Chan (Lee Jong Suk) was investigating Park Jun Mo. He checked the papers until midnight and overslept on the bus, but thanks to Hong Joo’s (Suzy) help, he got to the prosecutor’s office on time.
After that, he managed to execute Park Jun Mo for following the dream event experienced by Woo Tak (Jung Hae In) and Hong Joo by submitting an investigation to Dam Dong. Along with the joy she felt because Jae Chan successfully prosecuted Park Jun Mo, Hong Joo handed him a business card containing her phone number. Then she tried to kiss Jae Chan but in the end just got embarrassed.
However at the end of the drama, disclosed the dream Jae Chan had where they kiss and enhance the love between the two. Meanwhile, Jae Chan also revealed the reason to become a prosecutor was to keep his promise to his father, Jung Il Sung.
According to Nielsen Korea, ‘While You Were Sleeping’ episodes 7 and 8 managed to get the first position with a rating of 8.2% and 9.6% for each episode.
The drama representative said, “Even though it was aired during the Chuseok Holidays holiday, the drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’ has received 2049 viewers in 2 weeks, and also has a much larger audience among other programs.” The production team also ask the audience to look forward to what will happen next, especially after the kiss scene in dreams experienced by Jae Chan and Hong Joo.
