Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo Declined An Offer Worth 15 Million Won For Live Broadcasting of Their Wedding
Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo’s representative confirmed the truth that they had turned down the 15 billion won offer for the live broadcast of wedding. Their live wedding broadcasts are known to be illegal without having permission of the wedding organizer.
According to Song Joong Ki’s agency, Blossom Entertainment on the 1st, the wedding organizer did not allow live broadcasts of any kind on the day of Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo’s wedding. Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo’s wedding ceremony was held at Shilla Hotel, Seoul from 4pm and was broadcast by Chinese media ‘ifeng.com’ and broadcast live on Weibo. About two to three drones were reported flying around the area.
The representative said, “Since the wedding preparation, we have delivered that it is a private event without sponsorship. We got a live broadcast offer before the wedding but turned it down.” China’s largest media portal offered for live streaming wedding for 15 billion won. Song Jong Ki and Song Hye Kyo reportedly refused the offer without knowing the amount of money offered.
It makes the live streaming illegal. The bride and groom, families, guests, and a number of entertainers who were present are entitled to their photos. Even China’s top star Zhang Ziyi was present at the event. It is said that the live broadcast is illegal because it is not just a mere celebration photo but it is used for commercial purposes.
