“Box Office 200 Billion” EXO Lay VS Former Member Kris
EXO Lay and the former member of EXO, Kris, are fighting in Tiongkok’s Box Office. Both of their movies are sold for over 200 billion won and are both included in the box office.
Kris’ movie, ‘Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back’ which was released on 28th of January, could steal the top position for four days. On its premiere, the movie gained several billion won.
However, Lay soon caught up. His movie, ‘Kung Fu Yoga’, was able to rise to the top position on 31st of January. It topped the chart for nine days and ‘Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back’ was forced to sit on the third place.
Cumulative sales of both movies were enormous. It surpassed 200 billion won.
The competition between these movies become a hot topic recently. Even though at first Kris was leading with his movie, Lay was fast to catch up and finally stole the position from him.
Meanwhile, Lay is currently filming a drama and a movie in Tiongkok. Kris who has left EXO in 2014 is now continuing his activities as an actor in Tiongkok.
