The Competition Between tvN-JTBC, ‘Chicago Typewriter’ vs ‘Man to Man’
The competition between JTBC and tvN on Friday-Saturday drama slot is getting fierce! This time, tvN is still unable to steal the top spot that belongs to JTBC’s ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’.
tvN has been dominating this slot for so long through ‘Reply 1994’, ‘Oh My ghost’, ‘Reply 1988’, ‘Signal’, ‘Goblin’, and many more.
On the other hand, JBTC has several dramas that are liked by the public such as ‘Ms. Temper and Nam Jung Gi’, ‘Age of Youth’, ‘My Wife’s Having an Affair this Week’, and ‘Solomon’s Perjury’, however, the rating is not satisfying.
tvN’s ‘Tomorrow With You’ which started airing in February only got 1% rating, meanwhile JTBC’s ‘Strong Woman Do Bong Soon’ is able to attain 5.758% rating just in two episodes. The 6th episode of the drama gains 8,7% rating and becomes JTBC’s drama that is able to give a satisfying result.
Next month, tvN will release ‘Chicago Typewriter’ that has been awaited by the public. It is a drama about a famous writer and a ghostwriter and will be starring Im Soo Jung, Yoo Ah In, Go Kyung Pyo, Kwak Si Yang, and others.
JTBC will release ‘Man to Man’ after ‘Do Bong Soon’. This drama has been gaining the public’s attention through the appearance of Park Hae Jin. It is scheduled to start airing on April 21.
