First Episode of Lee Min Ho’s ‘DMZ Wild Secret’ Scored 4,2% Rating
Actor Lee Min Ho attracted public’s attention by appearing as the MC of a documentary show. According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of ‘DMZ Wild Secret’ scored 4,2% rating.
Among other shows in the same time slot, ‘DMZ Wild Secret’ ranked second. Meanwhile, SBS ‘Superfamily’ scored 4,0% rating and KBS ‘Hello Counselor’ topped the rank with 5,3%.
‘DMZ Wild Secret’ is a documentary that reveals the nature of society in the DMZ, the biggest ancient forest in the world, and life without human access unknown for more than half a century.
The show is made by the team who previously created ‘Tears of Amazon’ and ‘Tears of Antarctic’. The addition of Lee Min Ho as the presenter of ‘DMZ Wild Secret’ inevitably raised public’s attention to this show.
In the first episode, audience could see Lee Min Ho interacting with forest animals such as boar and goat. According to the actor, after participating in the documentary for more than a year, he has perfected the ability to put a camera in a tree and activated it from afar. Lee Min Ho could also adapt to the cold weather and hunger.
After its premiere episode, the rest of the documentary will be aired in June.
