So Ji Sub’s Fan Meeting Tour to Celebrate 20 Years Debut Anniversary
Actor So Ji Sub is currently doing fan meeting tour in Taiwan, Indonesia, Singapore, and other countries in Asia.
According to So Ji Sub’s agency, 51K, the fan meeting tour, entitled ‘TWENTY: The Moment’, is held to celebrate the actor/rapper’s 20 years debut anniversary. Following his successful fan meeting in Japan, So Ji Sub decided to meet more fans in other countries, starting from April 2 in Taipei, Taiwan, April 7 in Jakarta, Indonesia, and April 9 in Singapore.
During his fan meeting in Taipei, Taiwan, So Ji Sub’s fans made a special event, in which they held a ‘banner’ made of cards written with ‘Battleship Island, Daebak!’. ‘Battleship Island’ is So Ji Sub’s upcoming movie. The actor was deeply touched by the fans’ gesture. At the end of the fan meeting, So Ji Sub sang his encore song, ‘See The Light’, which was met by the audience’s uproar.
So Ji Sub also came to Jakarta, Indonesia. The actor had previously came to Bali, Indonesia, several years ago to shoot his drama ‘Something Happened in Bali’. However, this is So Ji Sub’s first time in Jakarta, specifically to meet his fans.
Before his Jakarta fan meeting was held, So Ji Sub did an interview with CNN Indonesia, in which he reminisced his 20 years old career, and shared his future plan. So Ji Sub revealed, “If there’s a great work, I will always want to be involved in the project without caring too much about nationality. I want to have a lot of opportunities to meet many people through various projects.”
The next stop for his Asia tour was Singapore. Prior to the fan meeting event, So Ji Sub made an appearance in ‘Star Award Live Show’, a broadcast awarding event in the country.
Next, the actor is going to visit Gwangzhou, China, in April 23, Hong Kong in April 27. Finally, his last fan meeting for this tour will be held in Seoul, April 30.
