Buchechum

Buchechum is also called as the fan dance (buche). This dance is performed by a group of women who wear hanbok with beautiful colors and peony flower as the pattern. In its era, the dance was performed in ancient and worship rituals. But now, it becomes a mandatory performance when there is a festival celebration.

Kalchum

Kalchum is a performance that uses a sword (kal). When the shamans want to perform a ritual to repel the evil spirits, they usually perform the Kalchum dance.
