The Competition in Wednesday-Thursday Drama Slot: ‘Ruler’, ‘Suspicious Partner’, and ‘Seven Days Queen’
The competition in Wednesday-Thursday drama slot continues. Since its first airing, ‘Ruler’ has climbed to the top. ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’ has been a star since its first episode on May 10.
From episode 1 to episode 4, the story of Crown Prince Lee Sun (Yoo Seung Ho) and his fateful meeting with Han Ga Eun (Kim So Hyun) has been attracting the viewers through Yoo Seung Ho’s transformation from being the nation’s little brother to a mature man. He has been receiving a good response from his acting in the drama. Not only that, his romance with Kim So Hyun, the sad scenes, and L’s transformation from being a member of an idol group into an actor also attract the public’s attention. That’s why ‘Ruler’ has been getting a high rating.
SBS ‘Suspicious Partner’ also competes with ‘Ruler’ in the rating. ‘Suspicious Partner’ is a romantic-comedy drama about a genius prosecutor named Noh Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook) and a student named Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun) who experienced a mysterious incident and eventually fell in love with each other.
On May 10th and 11th, from episode 1 to episode 4, Bong Hee is accused of a murder, and Noh Ji Wook, who’s in charge of the investigation, took off his uniform and asked for justice to dismiss Eun Bong Hee’s allegations. In episode 4, to Eun Bong Hee thinks she has a good relationship with Noh Ji Wook who helps her, but Noh Ji Wook says honestly, “Our relationship is not good”. The public is looking forward to seeing their development.
KBS 2TV ‘Seven Days Queen’, which will be replacing ‘Queen of Mystery’, is another historical drama that will challenge ‘Ruler’.
On May 31 ‘Seven Days Queen’ will start airing. It is a romance historical drama about a queen who reigns only for a short time and portrays a middle-class love story and aristocratic group.
Through ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal’, Park Min Young appeared as the goddess of historical drama, she will appear as the female lead character, Shin Chae Kyung, a queen who only reigns for a short time. The drama is also attracting public’s attention because it is made by PD Lee Jung Sub who also directed ‘Hong Gil-dong’, ‘King of Baking, Kim Takgu’, ‘Healer’, and many other dramas.
