Taeyeon’s Hong Kong Concert was Heavily Guarded following Concert Terror Threat
On June 10th, SNSD’s Taeyeon held a press conference before holding her solo concert ‘Persona’ in Hong Kong. The attention of Hong Kong’s local media was focused on the increasing security measures during the show.
According to some of the media, the concert, which should’ve started at 7PM, was delayed for about 20 minutes due to security reasons.
Taeyeon’s concert in Hong Kong Asia World Expo Hall was heavily guarded after the bombing incident after Ariana Grande’s concert happened in Manchester, England. The increase in security measures included additional security guards, audience’s inspection, also metal detectors. Some security dogs were also seen around the concert venue.
Fortunately, Taeyeon’s concert went on safely, without any incident. The singer also did another show in Hong Kong on June 11.
Meanwhile, the suicide bombing that happened after Ariana Grande’s concert in Manchester yielded in 22 deaths.
