BIGBANG Tae Yang Is Chosen As ‘Pyeongchang Olympics’ Ambassador

BIGBANG Tae Yang is selected as PR Ambassador ‘Pyeongchang Winter Olympic Games 2018’.

As PR Ambassador, Tae Yang will promote the Olympics Games in Pyeongchang and also the Olympics Games to be held in Korea and abroad. He also will promote a song for Pyeongchang Olympics that the lyrics are made by himself, which he has been accustomed to since he has debuted as a member of BIGBANG for 10 years.

Tae Yang said, “Despite the difference in language and culture, I have enough experience in music through shows that I often do in foreign countries. I also hope people can follow their dreams and passions through this 2018 Pyeongchang contest”.

Tae Yang started his career as a member of BIGBANG in 2006. In 2008, he debuted as a soloist. Tae Yang released songs that become popular like ‘Look Only at Me’ and also ‘Eyes, Nose, Mouth’. He also earned several awards such as the best male singer, best vocal performance, and song of the year.

Currently, Tae Yang is preparing his solo song which he will feature at his first solo concert in Japan titled ‘SOL JAPAN STADIUM LIVE 2017’ on July 8th and 9th.
