Kang Ha Neul and Lee Jong Suk, Two Young Movie Leads Who Have Received their Military Summons
Kang Ha Neul and Lee Jong Suk represent the 20-ish actors who possess high professionalism. Kang Ha Neul is starring in the movie ‘Midnight Runners’, while Lee Jong Suk is starring in the movie ‘V.I.P’. However, both are currently facing pressures ahead of their respective films due to military summmons.
On September 11th, Kang Ha Neul will start his service. Kang Ha Neul was born on February 21, 1990. He had been notified to join a special force from the national defense command of Police Headquarters earlier this year.
Kang Ha Neul will receive military training at the Army Training Center, and after that he will become a military police. Due to this, Kang Ha Neul had to cancel his participation in the drama ‘Bad Guys 2’, which will air in the second half of the year. After completing the promotional activities of his movie, ‘Midnight Runners’, which will be released on August 9th, he will start his service.
In his last movie before the military duty, ‘Midnight Runners’, Kang Ha Neul poured out a happy and joyful energy without any regrets. Although he is still in his 20s, Kang Ha Neul managed to show a very impressive acting.
Lee Jong Suk has also received his summon to start service on 10 August. YG Entertainment explained, “The mandatory order for Lee Jong Suk has been issued, but we have not decided anything yet. Lee Jong Suk will be in charge of promoting ‘V.I.P’, which will be released in August, as well as his drama ‘While You Were Sleeping’, which is going to be released in September. As the lead actor in both titles, he wishes to be able to promote them all.”
Although it is unclear whether he will actually start his service or not, Lee Jong Suk was born in 1989, which means he is now only 28 years old. He could postpone military service until at least 2 more years.
From August 1st, Lee Jong Suk has started doing promotional activities for ‘VIP’ seriously. His drama, ‘While You Were Sleeping’ will air in September. Although this drama is a pre-produced drama that does not demand an official appearance on the press conference, Lee Jong Suk still feels responsible. ‘While You Were Sleeping’ has received a lot of attention due to its main characters, Lee Jong Suk and Suzy.
