‘The Legend of The Blue Sea’ Ends with Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho’s Marriage
Jun Ji Hyun and Lee Min Ho’s love life in ‘The Legend of The Blue Sea’ ended happily.
In the latest episode of the drama, Sim Chung (Jun Ji Hyun) was finally back in Heo Joon Jae’s (Lee Min Ho) side. Previously, Sim Chung got shot because she wanted to protect Joon Jae. Her heartbeat got weaker, and Sim Chung had to go back to the sea to recover herself.
Knowing this, Joon Jae pleaded Sim Chung not to erase his memory. Sim Chung, who was hesitant, finally said. “I have choosen.” and the two of them kissed as a farewell.
On the next day, Joon Jae, who woke up next to a crystal in his bed showed a confused expression. This got the viewers to wonder, did Sim Chung actually erased Joon Jae’s memory?
Three years have passed since Sim Chung disappeared. Joon Jae has left his life as a con artist and now studied in a law school to become a prosecutor. At the same time, Sim Chung, who finally had recovered, came back to Seoul. When Joon Jae and Sim Chung met, Joon Jae could not remember her and asked, “Who are you?”
Sim Chung said silently, “You look fine. Why do I come back?”. Suddenly, Joon Jae appeared and asked her, “Why are you back here?” while holding an umbrella over Sim Chung’s head.
Joon Jae continued, “If it’s like this, why did you erase my memory? The only one who remembers you in this world is me.”, also, “I have tried. I was afraid that I would forget you as the days go by. So to prevent that, I have done everything that I could.”
Joon Jae revealed that he had written everything he knew about Sim Chung before she disappeared, and his notes helped him to remember Sim Chung.
Knowing this, Sim Chung said, “Thank you for waiting.”, to which Joon Jae replied, “Thank you for coming from afar,” while smiling.
