2018 Baeksang Arts Award, Shin Dong Yup, Park Bo Gum and Suzy hosting the show…Live broadcast 3 May afternoon
The 54th Baeksang Arts Award this year will be held in COEX Hall D, Seoul on 3rd of May at 8.30 p.m (GMT+9). Shin Dong Yup, Park Bo Gum and Suzy will participate as the MC to read the awards of movies and dramas that has been divided into a few categories. From the movie award, there are 11 total category including the best actor, the best supporting actor, and also the best new actory meanwhile for the drama award there are 14 categories in total.
For the best male actor in movie category, Kim Yoon Suk through his movie ‘1987’, Sung Kyung Goo from ‘the merciless’, Jang Woo Sung from ‘Steel Rain’ and Song Kang Ho from ‘A Taxi Driver’ are nominated for this category and everyone can’t help but wondering who will bring the trophy home.
The competition is also tight between the actresses in drama category. Starting from Kim Nam Joo from ‘Misty’, Kim Hee Sun from ‘The Lady in Dignity’, and Shin Hye Sun from ‘My Golden Life’ are competing with each other as they got nominated. Expectation is high towards Kim Nam Joo since it’s her first return to the small screen after absent for about 6 years.People are also putting a high expectation on Shin Hye Sun who has hit the record of 50% viewers rating.
In the entertainment programs section, ‘Youn’s Kitchen 2’, ‘I Live Alone’ and ‘Welcome, First Time In Korea?’ successfully nominated in the category.
Meanwhile Jung Hae In and Bae Suzy are the awardee of one of the award that has been voted by viewers. This award event will be broadcasted life in JTBC 2 Channel.
