American Version of ‘God’s Gift – 14 Days’ In the Making
SBS drama ‘God’s Gift – 14 Days’ is going to be the first Korean drama to have a remake in American version.
American broadcasting company ABC announced “It has been decided that ‘God’s Gift’ will be remake in 10 season with title ‘Somewhere in Between’ and will start airing in America next June.”
It is quite unusual for ABC to prepare 10 season without doing a market test. This shows the company’s high expectation in ‘God’s Gift’. The president of ABC said, “God’s Gift has a strong and interesting story line, it was even dubbed and aired in America.”
Paula Patton, who previously starred in ‘Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol’ and ‘De Javu’ has been chosen to play the female main character, and right now, the team is currently looking for its male main character. They will start shooting in Vancouver, Canada, next March in order to air the show in June.
