‘Introverted Boss’ and ‘Tomorrow with You’ Hit Lowest Viewer Rating
The channel that aired ‘Goblin’, tvN, is struggling to keep its popularity.
Two dramas that are currently airing in tvN got lowest viewer rating in each of its episode. ‘Tomorrow With You’ scored only 3,857% rating for its first episode and it keeps decreasing. Viewers seem to not favoring the acting and chemistry between Shin Min Ah, a top actress, and Lee Je Hoon, whose name rose to fame after starring in the popular drama,’Signal’. The ‘time slip’ element that has been popularized since last year through ‘Signal’ ‘Goblin,’ ‘Legend of the Blue Sea,’ and ‘Saimdang’, did not receive a good response.
Meanwhile, ‘Introverted Boss’ scored the best viewer rating for its premiere (3,164%), but after that, the rating keeps decreasing as well. The producer for this drama has attracted attention even before it was premiered due to his previous work, ‘Another Miss Oh’, who set the record for tvN’s most popular Monday-Tuesday drama. However, ‘Introverted Boss’ receives heavy criticism due to its character and also the rigid acting of the actors.
Last year, Monday-Tuesday drama such as ‘Cheese In The Trap, ‘Another Miss Oh,’ ‘Drinking Solo,’, also Friday-Saturday drama such as ‘Signal,’ ‘Dear My Friends,’ ‘Good Wife,’ and ‘Goblin’ managed to attract public attention and considered as well-made dramas. This keeps the audience interested to see if tvN can maintain its fame by creating quality dramas.
