‘Defendant’ Kim Min Suk Lied and Took Ji Sung’s Daughter
SBS’ Monday to Tuesday drama, ‘Defendant’, in its seventh episode (13/2) showed that Park Jung Woo (Ji Sung) had started to doubt Lee Sung Gyoo (Kim Min Suk). Sung Gyoo knew about the song that Jung Woo’s daughter ofter sang.
The next day, Cha Min Ho (Uhm Ki Joon) who knew that Sung Gyoo and Jung Woo shared the same cell became upset.
Jung Woo came back into the discipline room. He got a piece of his missing memory in the right moment. He was about to be put in a prison and he was talking to his daughter. That time, he heard, “If you want to save your daughter, then admit it”. Jung Woo then remembered about Sung Gyoo’s false testimony, and it made him got the death sentence.
Jung Woo who got a help from the health officer then called Seo Eun Hye (Kwon Yu Ri) and said, “You need to find Lee Sung Gyoo”.
To help Jung Woo, Eun Hye went to look for Sung Gyoo and found out the truth, “Lee Sung Gyoo murdered his sister”. She searched in a church where Lee Sung Gyoo lived.
In the prison, Shin Chul Sik said to Jung Woo, “What kind of reason should I make to release someone like you. I’ve told you that if you catch that person I will release you”. Then Jung Woo said, “Who is that person”, which inflicted other confusing questions.
Eun Hye and Min Ho’s subordinates kept looking for Sung Gyoo. The truth about Sung Gyoo who ever lived in front of Jung Woo’s house was also discovered late. Sung Gyoo said to Jung Woo, “Thanks to you, my punishment is reduced. That night I was just blabbering to stop you from dying. Because someone is coming, I think I need to go”. Jung Woo screamed in anger, “Is Ha Yeon here”. Sung Gyoo acted as if he didn’t know anything, however, truthfully he had Jung Woo’s daughter inside his car.
Meanwhile, a suspicious, new female character showed up (Oh Yeon Ah). The woman who seemed to be connected to Cha Sun Ho was looking at Cha Min Ho suspiciously and said, “You are not the Sun Ho that I know, it seems something is wrong”.
