Gong Yoo Sheds a Tear in His Taiwan Fan Meeting
Gong Yoo successfully held a fan meeting with 5500 Taiwan fans.
For the first time since his debut, on April 29, Gong Yoo spent about 3 hours and a half with fans in his Taiwan fan meeting. The tickets for the event itself was instantly sold out in less than ten minutes when it was opened in March.
After starring in ‘Train to Busan’, the only Korean film to have had more than 10 million viewers, Gong Yoo created a syndrome in Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Hong Kong with his latest drama, ‘Goblin’.
On April 29, Gong Yoo met his fans in Shin Chuang Gymnasium, Taipei. The venue was filled with reporters and fans who had been waiting since early in the morning.
The Taiwan fans also had a special event for Gong Yoo, which successfully moved the actor and made him shed some tears. “This is my happy tears. I’ve been working non-stop for a long time, and my heart has become weaker than I thought. I want thank you all, and I want to continue giving my heart to you.”
Gong Yoo’s next stop for his ‘Make a Wish’ fan meeting is Hong Kong Asia World Expo on May 6th.
