Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo’s Arrival Successfully Shake Hong Kong
Hallyu stars Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo successfully grabbed the hearts of Hong Kong fans.
On May 6, Gong Yoo had a fan meeting called ‘Make a Wish’ in Asia World Expo, Hong Kong, which was attended by about 4500 fans. In the event, which lasted for about 3 hours, Gong Yoo talked heart to heart with his fans. His close friend, actress Gong Hyo Jin, also appeared in the fan meeting as a special guest.
Gong Yoo’s success in ‘Goblin’ could be considered surpassing his success with ‘Coffee Prince’ 10 years ago. Hong Kong fans warmly received Gong Yoo’s arrival in Hong Kong. After knowing that Gong Yoo would have an interview with media and press on May 5, many fans clustered around the hotel where Gong Yoo stayed at.
Song Hye Kyo also recently came to Hong Kong after more than 1 year on May 4 to attend a fashion show, as she is the model/ambassador for the brand. Her presence attracted a lot of attention to the show. Song Hye Kyo’s latest drama, ‘Descendants of the Sun’, was also highly successful in Hong Kong. Regarding the actress’ future plan, Song Hye Kyo’s agency said, “She’s considering a movie scenario and a drama synopsis. She’ll make her decision in the near future.”
Song Hye Kyo’s new hairstyle was also a source of talks. The actress appeared with a long hair in the fashion show on May 4, but then sported a new short hairdo on May 6. Could this be a sign for her next project?
